Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I hope this finds you rested after the holidays. Have you made your "New Year's Resolutions"? I find that resolutions get broken to fast, so I make goals that are more attainable. Most of my goals this year are quilting ones. I have alot of projects to work on and finish.
This will be an exciting year. We are starting the year off with a member of our quilting group expecting her first grandson in a few days. Then it will be time to work on things for my nephews wedding this summer.

We still have some snow on the ground here, but just spotty now. We were snowed in for several days. That's ok- it was too cold to go out anyway! This is a picture of my birdhouse off the deck.
Molly had a wonderful time playing in the snow. More than once we had to rinse her off under the faucet to remove the snow from her legs and face. Santa brought her a new sweater for Christmas- but she got to have it early so she could keep warm. She looks like a peppermint stick when she wears it. If asked, she will choose to wear her new sweater!! The kitties just cuddled up near the fireplace to keep warm.
Hubby bought me a new recliner that has massage and heat. Mr Graham has decided that it is his chair and sleeps in it when I'm not around. If I'm in it then Molly wants my lap.
Have a great New Year,
