November Musings

I received school pictures this morning from Cozy, our granddaughter. She is in kindergarten. She is also a talker! She figured out really early what a phone was for and called me frequently. I may not have understood anything, but we talked. I still talk to her as often as I can. She loves school. She is a tiny little one and has been very sick. Among other things, she has a vomiting disorder. They have just found a medication and protocol that is helping. Maybe now she will begin to put some weight on. She weighs about 25 lbs at age 5. But inspite of everything she is funny, joyful and you never know what she will say or do next.
This is a picture of Christina and I at Apple Hill in CA. We were having a wonderful time. I am going to get started on her quilting projects this week, hopefully. Just need to get some muslin for it. I need quite a bit. Probably should find a good deal on a bolt! She & her hubby bought a beautiful new dark oak table. So we found some "wine" related fabrics to make a set of placemats, a tablerunner and some napkins. Very pretty. It should go together very quickly. Soon as I have it done or mostly done I'll post pictures.
I have much to accomplish today. Laundry, ironing fabric for the Broken Star class tomorrow, and paying bills. ugh. :)
Will talk later,
hugs,
Cheryl
